MileLog — Mileage & Deduction Log

MileLog is a mileage log that keeps your trips and your deduction estimate in one place, on your phone.

Log each trip in seconds: date, category, miles (or odometer start and end) and an optional note. MileLog adds up your miles by category for the year and shows an estimated deduction, updating as you go.

What you get (full version)

• Unlimited trips, saved on your phone
• Four categories: Business, Medical, Charity and Personal
• Type the miles, or enter odometer start and end and let MileLog work it out
• Yearly summary with estimated deduction per category and in total
• Your own rates: edit the per-mile rate for each category whenever the rules change
• Save the year as a CSV file, or share it straight to email, Drive or your accountant
• Switch between years with one tap

Private and simple

• Works fully offline: the app has no internet permission
• No ads, no account, no tracking, no subscription
• Your trips never leave your phone unless you export them
• Adapts to phones, tablets and foldables (two-pane view on wide screens)

Free demo

Not sure it fits? Download the free demo: it works exactly like the full version for up to 10 trips, without CSV export. The full version removes the limit and adds export.

Good to know

• The default rates are the 2025 IRS standard mileage rates (70 cents business, 21 cents medical, 14 cents charity). Check the current rates for the year you are filing and edit them in the app if they have changed.
• Deduction figures are estimates for convenience, not tax advice. Rules differ by country and situation, and not everyone can deduct mileage. Ask a tax professional if you are unsure.
• Requires Android 8.0 or newer. Install by downloading the APK and allowing installs from your browser or file manager when prompted.
